Summer Workshop with Kirsten Sheridan

The Grennell approach to finding your own method.

About the Workshop

There is no ‘one size fits all’ method.
Instead, we at Bow Street LA believe acting is a daily practice of finding your own story, expanding yourself, managing your relationship with your environment and unearthing your unique energetic signature.

The actor must provide the courage and we provide the tools, the space, and the push. Leading this workshop, Kirsten Sheridan will hold the actor’s hand and simultaneously push them up to their edge. The only brand she adheres to is intimacy, authenticity and excellence, returning the power back into the hands of the actor so they can become the architect of their own process.

Over 8 intensive and practical Tuesday nights, you will learn an original approach designed specifically for working with the camera, that can empower you to find your next level of personal expression.

Through uniquely designed exercises accompanied by shoot and review sessions you will receive personalized feedback and instruction using a person centered approach to learning.

This methodology has been cultivated over many years by Gerry Grennell who works at the highest levels of the film and TV industry. What he discovers and cultivates on the biggest sets in the world, is channeled right back into the room

At the center of this training is OWNERSHIP. This method of ownership which is unique to Bow Street forms the foundation of all our training. It is a completely immersive practice and discipline that enhances performance and liberates the actor from fear of failure or judgement allowing them to be completely truthful and present.
