This one day workshop is designed to take the actor or anyone interested in what happens behind the scenes of a Film or TV production and making simple all aspects of production that the actor will inevitably have to deal with. By demystifying these aspects it leaves the actor with a clearer understanding of the process and more energy to invest in their performance.
The workshop will provide a guide through shooting schedules, call sheets, script revisions, professional working etiquette, and more. Designed and delivered by 2nd AD Adrienne Greenhalgh, you will be fully prepared for your next professional job by getting a first hand account of:
• how production runs
• how to read a call sheet, schedule and DOODs
• an overview of a film unit – who does what and when
• set lingo
• the differences between film & tv sets.
• understanding Paperwork – Script revisions, Colour Pages, The Shooting
Adrienne Greenhalgh has been working in the film and tv industry for 26 years to date. An accomplished assistant director who has worked on many international and local home grown projects for various networks and production companies including Netflix, Fox, MGM, AMC, Starz, ITV, RTE, BBC, Element Pictures, Metropolitan Films, Merman and many more.
Adrienne had the opportunity to train with and learn from excellent Assistant Directors, Actors and Directors on large and small productions. She completed her BA (Hons) Degree in IADT and produced two award winning short films as part of her graduation project. Adrienne is qualified as a drama facilitator with Youth Theatre Ireland. She has designed and developed the course “Set Etiquette” in conjunction with Screen Ireland and the NTA’s and has delivered it for new entrants to the industry on many occasions. She is passionate about training and up-skilling in the screen industry and is looking forward to sharing her experience and expertise.
