Bow Street are proud to present our new 4 week full time course in creative filmmaking and directing actors. This course is aimed at filmmakers who are looking to hone and develop their creative projects and vision, nurture their unique artistic voice and get more direct experience and guidance on working with actors and collaborating on getting the best performances possible.

Covering a range of subjects topics covered include the Gerry Grennell method, script writing & analysis, understanding the actors process, directing actors on camera, clarifying your vision, how to make the film you want to make, auditioning and casting, creative editing, producing original work and much more. The aim of the course is to give participants an immersive experience in the creative business of filmmaking and to help create more clarity, focus and ownership over your creative vision and unique voice as a filmmaker.

As this course is centered around the individual artistic voice of the filmmaker and the creative aspects of filmmaking and working with actors, all levels of technical ability and experience are welcome. Candidates should ideally have access to editing software and some experience cutting scenes, however, this is not essential.
